It is perfect for outdoor sports enthusiasts to use. It has 4,835 reviews in the Google Play Store with a rating of 2.3 stars. It has been installed more than 10,000,000 times and was newest updated on December 20, 2021. In the Apple App Store, it has received a rating of 2.6 stars from 47 users.
Trailforks is arguably the world's best database for mountain biking and other trails because of the ability to record your GPS location during route creation, you can find areas and route information, including routes, photos, videos, etc. At the same time, you can download areas or maps from Trailforks. No more searching for files to export as you do in Strava. When the user is riding, there is no time to look at statistics and at the end of the ride, the user is just happy to have completed the ride in its entirety and had fun. This app meets the user's needs! One user commented that Trailforks does have trailheads supported by Google Maps navigation! Also, there is a great deal of content here that has helped me many times to find my way out of the woods and to discover a great number of trails.
However trailforks is not quite perfect, it is not available for free to users, thus allowing their app to better update trail conditions, pictures, new trails, etc. And many of the uploaded photos are selfies, photos of bikes next to trails, trail signs and other useless stuff. Also, there is no text box to provide a background for the pictures.
But overall, it is a great convenience for those who love the outdoors, and the app is safe and easy to use, which is why I recommend it.
Pros:
1. All trails appear clearly labeled and colored on the site.
2. A lot of bad routes are avoided by using Trailforks.
Cons:
1. It can't sync in real time.
3. It is not free, you need to pay to access the in-app features.
